Cue It Now ("Cue It," "we," "us," or "our") operates cueitnow.com and the Cue It app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: Your name and email address, provided when you create an account via email or Google OAuth.
• Streaming preferences: The streaming services you connect, shows you add to your queue or watchlist, and content you interact with.
• Social data: Friends you connect with on the platform and activity visible to those friends (e.g., what you're watching).
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, and interactions within the app, collected automatically.
• Device and technical data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and general location derived from IP.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
• To provide personalized show recommendations based on your preferences and watch history.
• To power social features, including showing friends what you're watching.
• To display streaming availability across services you subscribe to.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing).
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.
• To communicate product updates and relevant announcements (you can opt out).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Cue It:

• Supabase: Provides our database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data is stored securely on Supabase-managed servers.
• Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Streaming service APIs: We query third-party APIs (e.g., TMDB) to retrieve show metadata and availability. We do not share your personal data with these APIs.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session and remember preferences (such as your last sign-in method). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, but doing so will sign you out.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
